7. The objectives of the course

To educate the students about the basic principles of structural systems and building elements, materials, and technologies for the building. The development of the capability for the analysis, synthesis, and application in architectural design.
8. The content of the course

Semester I: Architectural constructions, tradition, construction systems, vertical elements, non-structural elements, fasteners and materials.

II semester: The horizontal elements, foundation, chimney-sweep, and the lights, floors, and ceilings.
9. Methods of teaching

The theoretical lectures, exercises, and advice.

Colloquium: 30 points
