| Course objectives (competences) | Students will become familiar with the basics of aesthetic science, with the aesthetic attitude towards the world, with aesthetic views on creativity, art and aesthetic categories; to deepen their knowledge of the significance of creativity and aesthetic categories for human life; to become familiar with the great aesthetic values and forms of creativity, contemporary research and the ethics of the construction profession. |
| The content of the program | The curriculum includes General Aesthetics, Aesthetics of Architecture and Fine Arts, as well as Philosophy, Anthropology, Epistemology, Methodology and Ethics. Problem orientation of aesthetics; aesthetic orientations, Poetics, Aesthetics and the beautiful; universe and man, aesthetic categories, analytical and synthetic approaches; man as a natural, social, ethical and creative being; art as a human work; natural and created beauty; subjectivist and objectivist aesthetics; aesthetic properties and categories; form and content; visual and spatial arts; architecture and its values; ethical functions of art; ecological ethics of construction. |
