Prerequisites for entering the course In accordance with the instruction, and the curriculum
Course objectives (competences) Introduction to graphic design as a creative, and interdisciplinary work, as well as a tool of a modern, visually, the mass media in the broader social strata, in its essence, it is his impact on the education of taste and culture in the broadest sense.
The content of the program Place, role and meaning; Categorization; Brief historical overview; Methodology (design process – planning and programming, information, analysis, synthesis, development, production, disposition, placement); Aesthetic principles; Proportions (construction of text signs – rhythm, accent, symmetry, asymmetry); Meaning of form and content; Expressive means of graphic design; Typographic styles; Typography (elements, printing); Graphic materials; Areas of graphic design (print, TV, radio, film, advertisements, commercials, fairs, exhibitions, shop windows); Trademark and logo; Artistic and graphic design of books, newspapers and magazines; Graphic design of packaging (elements, materials, form, division, artistic and graphic composition, packaging, product presentation, economic propaganda).
