| Course objectives (competences) | Introduction to graphic design as a creative, and interdisciplinary work, as well as a tool of a modern, visually, the mass media in the broader social strata, in its essence, it is his impact on the education of taste and culture in the broadest sense. |
| The content of the program | Place, role and meaning; Categorization; Brief historical overview; Methodology (design process – planning and programming, information, analysis, synthesis, development, production, disposition, placement); Aesthetic principles; Proportions (construction of text signs – rhythm, accent, symmetry, asymmetry); Meaning of form and content; Expressive means of graphic design; Typographic styles; Typography (elements, printing); Graphic materials; Areas of graphic design (print, TV, radio, film, advertisements, commercials, fairs, exhibitions, shop windows); Trademark and logo; Artistic and graphic design of books, newspapers and magazines; Graphic design of packaging (elements, materials, form, division, artistic and graphic composition, packaging, product presentation, economic propaganda). |
