| The objectives of the program |
Enable the students to: – an active knowledge of, analitic, and a constructive approach, and the relationship to the built and artistic heritage; – the identification, selection, and evaluation of the facts of the stable, and the change is the category for an architectural concept; – the acceptance of the message of the historical heritage, as an important factor in the creation of the construction of the language and the culture. |
| Contents |
The course covers the historical and theoretical features of the architecture, urban planning and the arts to a new age (XV–XIX centuries), the aspects of: – the influence of the social and the political, the religious, and the the humanist context; – origin, development, and transformations in the urban areas, concepts, and typologies; – architectural composition, and the shape; – the art of the new century (sculpture, relief, painting), and its influence. Academic units: the Early renaissance, High renaissance, Late renaissance, a Renaissance in Europe, and the Baroque in Italy and in Europe, and the Rococo, Basis, Romanticism. |
