• Introduction to ideas and themes fundamental to postmodern architectural discourses after 1968 • Development of the logic skills, and responsible attitude, thinking, and communication of architecture • Promotion of an open, free, thoughtful and curious attitude towards opposing architectural and urban ideologies • The definition of status, strength of character, and the system intended for architectonic theory in relation to practice |

1. The subject and methods of иследување: the definition of the term, the process of теоретизација, the types of the architectural theories, the relationship with other disciplines 2. Contemporary architectural theories: paradigms and traditions, modernism vs. postmodernism, dominant themes and metaphors, text and collage 3. Opposition discourses and approaches: a survey of formal operations, the ideological, and the семиотичка analysis, institutional, and typological studies, the materialistic historiography The choice of the reference texts/authors, varies according to the emphasis of the course. |
