Course objectives (competences) The acquisition of the necessary knowledge for the achievement of the major trends and the future of the art of the start of the FIFTEENTH up until the second half of the XX century, as well as their impact on the architectural trends in the creation of new concepts and architectural styles.
The content of the program The first block: the artistic periods from the renaissance, baroque, rococo, basis, romanticism, realism (the beginning of the XV – the end of the NINETEENTH century.
The second block: art movements – impressionism, post-impressionism, nabizism, fauvism, cubism, expressionism, futurism, abstraction, de style, constructivism, surrealism, abstract painting; movements from the 50s and 60s (informel, assemblage, pop art, op art) to the end of the 20th century.
Methods of teaching History-a genetic method, the analyses of the artistic composition, and discussions, visits to exhibitions, interactive teaching methods.
